Deck 84 Needs Your Help!

Deck 84 Needs Your Help!

To All Deck 84 Patrons,

The City Of Delray Beach recently revised the Noise Ordinance, which essentially eliminates any live music at Deck 84.

The revision is primarily intended to reduce night time noise in the downtown district. Deck 84's bands play on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

If you would like to see this ordinance modified to where it goes into effect after dark and the previous, reasonable ordinance applies during daytime hours, please click HERE and sign our petition.

Thank you for your support,

The Crew at Deck 84

E&J's Sandwich Shop is Open!

E&J's Sandwich Shop is open for business!

Rapoport’s Restaurant Group is expanding its roster of already successful dining concepts and opening a boutique sandwich shop in Delray Beach.  Burt Rapoport leased the building wanting to bring a nostalgic, well-rounded sandwich shop to neighborhood by using inspiration from classic concepts. Conveniently named after the shop’s new operating team, Deck 84’s Executive Chef Jon Greening and General Manager, Eric Clark, E&J’s Sandwich Shop opened its doors today, Friday, July 27, 2012.

A great new location for eating in or taking out, E&J’s Sandwich Shop will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as late night on the weekends.  Situated on Atlantic Ave. just a few doors down from Rapoport’s award-winning waterfront concept, Deck 84,  E&J’s offers an array of hot and cold creations including Burt’s favorite sandwich, fittingly titled “Burto’s” made with oven roasted turkey, roast beef, Swiss cheese, coleslaw and Russian dressing.

Whether stopping in to pick up a quick lunch before heading to the beach or enjoying a relaxing summer evening on their covered 30-seat outdoor terrace, this nostalgic-style sandwich shop offers a new casual dining option to Atlantic Ave. E&J’s is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., on Friday and Saturday.

Deck 84 named one of top 100 restaurants in the nation for al fresco dining!

Open Table names best South Florida restaurants for outdoor dining

OpenTable.com, the online reservation web site, just released its list of top 100 restaurants for outdoor dining across the country and Deck 84 is one of the top!

Winners were based on the opinions of nearly 5 million reviews submitted by Open Table diners for more than 15,000 restaurants.

If you haven't been to Deck 84 yet, make sure you stop by and check out all of the qualities that allowed us to win this coveted title: live music on the weekends, 150 feet of dock space so you can arrive by boat, a casual American menu, a dog friendly patio and deck, and more. As one of Atlantic Avenue’s favorite neighborhood dining destinations, we serve the perfect atmosphere for Florida fun with delicious cuisine, quality wines and creatively crafted cocktails amid the Intracoastal's impeccable sun-kissed waters.

Deck 84’s lively tropical atmosphere has been voted First Place for “Intracoastal Dining” and “Oceanfront Dining” and "Outdoor Dining" by Boca Raton Magazine readers.

Thanks to all who voted and we look forward to seeing you all on deck!

Bogart’s Bar and Grille Five Steps to a Great Night Out

Bogart's Bar and Grille  is promoting our new “Five Steps to a Great Night Out” campaign and we couldn’t have made it any easier for you to have a great night out. Bogart’s is located in the Premier Level at Cinemark Palace 20, in the heart of Boca Raton, Fla., so instead of making an extra stop to have dinner before you see a movie, you can do both in the same place, and it will only take five easy steps!

The First Step: Select your premier level seats and make your dinner reservations at Bogart’s. You are able to reserve your seats in advance so you don’t have to rush through dinner just to get the front row!
The Second Step: Arrive in style with FREE valet! If you’ve seen the parking lot before, you know it’s the size of a small country, and instead of driving in circles trying to find a spot, the helpful valet attendants do the hard work for you.

The Third Step: Dine at Bogart’s and enjoy our great casual American menu. The menu features everything from mac and cheese with a truffle parmesan crust, grilled portabella mushroom whole wheat pizza, dijon crusted chicken “Milano,” slow roasted beef brisket, and much more. This is not your average movie and a dinner menu, but be sure to save some room!
The Fourth Step: Savor your favorite snacks, cocktails, wine and beer during the movie. A movie theater where you can enjoy fine wines and cocktails during the movie doesn’t come around often and Bogart’s has figured out this perfect niche for your enjoyment. Even better, you receive complimentary popcorn and can top it with hot butter and flavorings.

The Fifth Step: Relax in your plush movie theater seat and enjoy the movie. Surrounded with all of your drinks, snacks and popcorn, you have the best seats in the house. What makes it even more comfortable is how easy it was to have such a great night out!
We look forward to seeing you at Bogart’s for your night out! Please call (561) 544-3044 or visit www.bogartsofboca.com for more information!

Moving Up: Eric Clark, general manager of operations at Deck 84 restaurant

Eric Clark is the new General
Manager of Operations at
the award-winning restaurant
 in Delray Beach, Deck 84.
Welcome Back, Eric!

A well-known name on the South Florida restaurant scene, Eric Clark was recently hired as the general manager of operations at Burt Rapoport's Deck 84 in Delray Beach, Fla. Being part of Rapoport's award-winning restaurants represents a homecoming for Clark, who worked with the veteran restaurateur 20 years ago at Max's Grille, Maxaluna and Prezzo.

His challenge at Deck 84, he said, is "to exceed guests' expectations and wow them on every visit." The waterfront restaurant at 840 E. Atlantic Ave. has about 100 employees, and he said it's important to create a family environment with them.

"I was 15 when I started in the restaurant business," he said. "Restaurants are my passion, my love and my destiny."
