Burt and Robin Rapoport are being awarded with the prestigious Community Service Award, by the George Snow Scholarship Fund at the 17th annual Caribbean Cowboy Ball taking place at Red Reef Park on January 30, 2010. Burt Rapoport is the owner of Rapoports Restaurant Group, Inc. that operates Bogart’s Bar & Grille at Cinemark Palace 20 in Boca Raton, and Henry’s at The Shoppes at Addison Place in Delray Beach.

The Community Service Award is presented and selected each year by the Steering Committee and the Board of Trustees of the George Snow Scholarship Fund to a deserving couple who have shown an ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life in the community. The qualities they look for are couples that have provided support and have exhibited an overall philanthropic role in the community.

Transformation creates an expanded bar and enhanced décor

Bogart’s Bar & Grille, situated within the upstairs Premier Level of the Cinemark Palace 20 movie theater, has been delighting guests with wonderful food and superior service since 2006. To create a fresh look, the Rapoport’s Restaurant Group restaurant has undergone a renovation to enhance the guest experience in dining areas and boasts an expanded bar. The award-winning restaurant will re-invent itself with a refurbished bar and bistro area, and will update and lighten up the dining space. Tigerwood floors and golden granite will update and lighten the dining space. Incorporating warm, modern tones, the newly enhanced décor will feel fresh and lively and will have improved acoustics. In addition, more LCD TV’s will be positioned in key locations for optimal viewing.

Open for lunch at 11 am and dinner until late night, Bogart’s Bar & Grille is centrally located off of I-95 at the Glades Road exit is on the second level of the Cinemark Palace 20 Theater and offers a dining experience like no other. The restaurant is adjacent to the six luxury premier level movie theaters that offer plush reserved balcony seating. This upper level features roomy sofa-like seats, and provide a unique movie watching experience. With side tables attached to each reserved seat, beverages and food from Bogart’s Bar & Grille are easily enjoyed while watching a movie. Called the “ultimate dinner and a movie experience”, the Bogart’s Bar & Grille and Cinemark Palace 20 Premier Level have created a unique concept with no competition in South Florida.
