A packed slate of anticipated sequels is in store for 2011. Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will star in a Transformers sequel. Disney has Johnny Depp starring in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Pixar's Cars 2. Warner Bros. will bring us a sequel to the The Hangover with Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, and Justin Bartha. The new movie will take place in Bangkok in The Hangover 2. The X-Men sequel will feature Professor X's career with X-Men: First Class and a new batch mutants. Many other sequels are in store including George Miller's Happy Feet 2; a third installment of Alvin and the Chipmunks; Journey to the Center of the Earth 2; Spy Kids 4; and A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas.

Look for a lot of Superheroes in the movies in 2011. The Green Hornet, starring Seth Rogen and Jay Chou, hits theaters in January. Marvel Studios’ Thor, with British actor / director Kenneth Branagh, and Captain America: The First Avenger, starring Chris Evans, will be released in May and July. Between the two Marvel films, Warner Bros. will have a DC Comics adaptation of The Green Lantern in June. This will be a 3D film, starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, with Martin Campbell directing a script by Greg Berlanti.

More than 25 movies are in store for 3D releases. Look for James Cameron's Sanctum; the Justin Bieber life story and concert movie; the Shrek spin-off Puss in Boots; Paul Bettany's Priest; and live-action/CG comedy The Smurfs, with the voice talents of Katy Perry, Jeff Foxworthy, Paul Reubens, and George Lopez.

You've already heard a review or two about The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and most of the reviews are positive! 

Variety stated that "this time around . . . the result finally feels more like the blockbuster this top-earning franchise deserves" and that the film "feels the most cinematic of the series so far." The sentiment given byVariety's review can be summed up with their statement that the film has "a more dynamic energy."

The Hollywood Reporter found that Eclipse stands out from Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon because it "finally nails just the right tone" and "moves confidently into the heart of the matter -- a love triangle that causes a young woman to realize choices lead to consequences that cannot be reversed."

 Twilight fans well know how important and influential (that is, not so much) these opinions are - it's the fan perspective that really matters. The good news is that such Twilight fan opinions are trickling out from the Eclipse premiere screening as well, and those reviews are glowing!

The LA Times featured a few, including statements like "[Eclipse] was 100% better than the other two" and "It was amazing. It was fantastic. It was everything I wanted it to be. It was ... perfect."

With less than forty-eight hours to go until the film's release, this news is certainly something to smile about!

Transformation creates an expanded bar and enhanced décor

Bogart’s Bar & Grille, situated within the upstairs Premier Level of the Cinemark Palace 20 movie theater, has been delighting guests with wonderful food and superior service since 2006. To create a fresh look, the Rapoport’s Restaurant Group restaurant has undergone a renovation to enhance the guest experience in dining areas and boasts an expanded bar. The award-winning restaurant will re-invent itself with a refurbished bar and bistro area, and will update and lighten up the dining space. Tigerwood floors and golden granite will update and lighten the dining space. Incorporating warm, modern tones, the newly enhanced décor will feel fresh and lively and will have improved acoustics. In addition, more LCD TV’s will be positioned in key locations for optimal viewing.
